Ruth has been the epitome of a dual purpose Welsh Springer Spaniel. She did very well in the show ring and also won two Field Trial Awards. She gained her Stud Book Number at a Field Trial. She has also had a Reserve Best Bitch at a breed club open show and numerous Best of Breed at Open Shows.

She is retired now and living the life of riley at home due to having Glaucoma. She is a lovely dog to live with and still leads all the others astray.
