Many if us have already done one of the final cuts of the grass we may do this year. As the colder weather starts to set in the grass tends not to grow as quickly/ Often you will find that the grass is too wet to cut or that you end up churning up half the lawn trying to mow it.

If you have planted grass seed, it is not uncommon to find that you are not very happy with the results. It can often look a little patchy and it usually takes quite some time to grow. When planting grass seed you need to try and ensure that no one walks on it until it is fully established. You should also try and stop birds from eating the seeds as you can find that all of them are gone within a few hours of you putting them down.

If you are wanting a perfect lawn with minimum of hassle and maximum results, then you should opt for turf. Turf is grass that has already been grown and just needs laying down on your lawn. It does still require a high level of care whilst it embeds but can look great and be lower maintained than planting grass seed.  

Many of us love the summer months when we can spend evenings relaxing until later with a glass of wine or simply having a cup of tea whilst watching the starts come out. As the winter months draw closer, sitting outside is not as attractive as it may have been in summer. The cold and often wet weather we have in Britain during the autumn and winter months can mean that we don’t get much time to enjoy our gardens. Having a glass room installed is a great way to bring a bit of the outdoors inside. It allows you to have the views that you would if sat outside but without being fully exposed to the elements.  

There are a number of different types of glass rooms you can opt for but choosing one with a minimalistic frame will ensure that you have uninterrupted views of your surroundings. You may worry what a glass room will be like during the summer months, but you choosing to have sun blinds installed that can easily be retracted when not in use will help you to block out the sun when you want and keep the room cooler. Another advantage of  glass room is that you choose to have opening glass panels to allow the air to run through. This will all help you easily regulate the temperature to the level you find most comfortable.
